Metal cutting theory and practice a bhattacharya
This book is like golden book, which should be in every mechanical engineers library and especially design engineers library. The level of this book according to me is for post graduate students as in under graduate studies so much detailed treatment is not required, but for every student for who this book is must read in life time. It is written by "master of mechanics of machining ". The author is from IIT so no comments on its please. The depth and rigor is really excellent.
And finally site needs special thanks for timely delivery and making such a good product available online. The book counts up to pages and is printed in blue and black. I thought I should mention because description given about book is really shallow and brief.
They have their exits and their entrances, And one man in his time plays many parts, His acts being seven ages.
At first the infant, Mewling and puking in the nurse's arms. Then, the whining school-boy with his satchel And shining morning face, creeping like snail Unwillingly to school. And then the lover, Sighing like furnace, with a woeful ballad Made to his mistress' eyebrow. Then, a soldier, Full of strange oaths, and bearded like the pard, Jealous in honour, sudden, and quick in quarrel, Seeking the bubble reputation Even in the cannon's mouth.
And then, the justice, In fair round belly, with a good capon lined, With eyes severe, and beard of formal cut, Full of wise saws, and modern instances, And so he plays his part.
The sixth age shifts Into the lean and slippered pantaloon, With spectacles on nose and pouch on side, His youthful hose, well saved, a world too wide For his shrunk shank, and his big manly voice, Turning again toward childish treble, pipes And whistles in his sound.
Last scene of all, That ends this strange eventful history, Is second childishness and mere oblivion, Sans teeth, sans eyes, sans taste, sans everything.

Metal Cutting These notes will be organized in three sections: Metal Cutting Mechanics. Various theoretical models for hardness, adhesion and residual stresses, and experimental work, both in support of these models and on other relevant properties such as corrosion, abrasion and colour, are cited and discussed.
Finally, research issues and developmental needs in pertinent areas are identified and explicated. This process is experimental and the keywords may be updated as the learning algorithm improves. This is a preview of subscription content, log in to check access.
